Kazhard is a powerful goddess of creation and art, who is said to sleep under the earth. Her dreams allow life to continue flowing through the planet, and so every year on Halitak, the Urejadti people would hold a festival to give thanks to her.

In Urejadti mythology, Kazhard is the goddess who created and defended the first Humans, and now rests from the incredible battle she maintained for eons.

In the beginning, Kazhard was an avid creator of mortal beings, and would often prefer their company over that of the other thirteen gods and goddesses of the original pantheon. This was taken as an insult among the other deities, who grew incredibly jealous, and so they often destroyed entire civilizations of her mortals as punishment, leaving Kazhard to mourn for ages. It is mentioned in some texts that she wept so frequently from the loss, than it created the oceans.

One day, Kazhard created the Humans, and fell deeply in love with them. They sang songs for her, and created things themselves in order to be more like her. Again, this angered the other gods and goddesses, and they returned with hatred and jealousy in their hearts. They said that not only would they inflict a slow and terrible death upon the Humans, but they would scar Kazhard's face with ice, and freeze her skin, so that no other creation could come from her ever again.

In a desperate response, Kazhard then murdered three of the thirteen jealous deities, and fed their corpses to Ugerrad as a warning for the others to see. Outraged, the remaining gods and goddesses began to weep and attack the defiant creator, their tears pooling in the stars while their bodies slowly turned into those of monsters. The battle was waged for eons, but Kazhard was a fierce and unrelenting warrior, and so she emerged victorious on the day that would become known as "Halitak".

She looked around herself, standing knee-deep in the blood and tears of her fallen enemies, and began to craft the mixing waves into the demigods, who would hang in the sky as watchmen. Kazhard was exhausted, and the demigods promised her the safety of her creations while she rested. She entered a deep ongoing sleep, while her Humans used their newfound cosmic safety to thrive.

Kazhard, before she slowly encompassed herself in cliffs and dirt during her rest, was described in a few different ways throughout various ancient texts. Some sources state that she had no physical form at all, a few state that she is the planet itself, but most other sources state that she resembled a woman from what is now the River Valley Trade Zone.

The oldest and most common sources, however, are fairly consistent in describing her physical form, as many Halitak traditions include murals of her image. Kazhard is often described as being quite tall, having dark-brown skin, black curly hair reaching the ground (often adorned with flowers and small wooden tokens), and often dressed in long draping robes of dark green and various sandy colors. Surprisingly, there is no indication of any metallic jewelry or gems on her person in any sources, and any mention of such objects are described as being rough stone or wood in design.

Very few sources give any deep description of a supposed personality for her, but some consistent sources describe her as being cheerful, whimsical, and incredibly strong. One tablet, recovered from a possible ancient watchtower, described her as "having the strength, with which to fling a boulder, and strike a star out of the sky".
